Job summary

Siemens Mobility Inc., Rolling Stock Division, is seeking a Planner / Supplier Order Management Specialist in Sacramento, CA, to ensure on-time delivery of open purchase orders and to coordinate with manufacturing, planning, sourcing and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has a related bachelor's degree and at least five years in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing, with SAP and MS Excel proficiency. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, manufacturing, or engineering.
• 5+ years procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in SAP and MS Excel; proficient in MS Office.
• Experience in engineer-to-order manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous supply of materials and address supply issues.
• Analyze requisitions for accuracy and expedite urgent orders.
• Review replenishment reports and resolve supplier issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, sourcing, and engineering to solve supply issues.
• Communicate across departments to allocate excess materials.
