Job summary

CCL Label Sioux Falls is seeking a Buyer/Planner to join the Purchasing team. The role focuses on materials management, planning for production, and ensuring raw materials and MROs are ready as schedules require.

Responsibilities include entering purchase orders, expediting orders, coordinating imports, and collaborating with planners, PMs, and sales to manage demand and inventory effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience of statistical reporting, forecasting, and understanding for financial and operational impacts of forecasting.
• Competent IT skills in Microsoft Office and exceptional skill level in Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and sharing appropriate information and ensuring targets are met and procedures are followed at all times.
• Material planning to include review of production schedule to ensure material availability to avoid production delays.
• Enter purchase orders into the system ensuring timely placement and delivery of components in line with production planning requirements.
• Expedite and reschedule open purchase orders to suit production planning requirements.
• Interact with production planner, project managers and sales to understand the demand.
• Coordinate all imports including freight, insurance and duties and temperature-controlled shipments for incoming material.
