Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Materials Planner to act as the inventory lifecycle coordinator for equipment, parts, and assemblies. You will plan material requirements, schedule deliveries, and coordinate movements across purchasing, production and engineering to meet production goals.

The role requires on-site work in a manufacturing environment, with focus on accuracy, scheduling, and timely material flow to prevent bottlenecks. Prior experience in material management is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–4 years material management experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP, MRP, EDI, ASN, MPS, WMCS, APS and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Requirements planning and scheduling based on engineering and production schedules.
• Expedite overdue materials and prioritize according to production needs.
• Maintain inventory records and verify material quantities and locations.
• Coordinate material movements across purchasing, production and engineering teams.
