Job summary

Camaco is seeking a Materials Planning & Inventory Control professional to schedule and monitor inbound materials, manage deliveries, and ensure alignment with production schedules. The role emphasizes MRP accuracy, supplier coordination, and data-driven process improvements.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Materials/Purchasing with 5+ years in manufacturing (automotive a plus) and strong Excel skills, with Plex MRP experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Materials/Purchasing, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting – automotive a plus.
• Knowledge and experience using an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system – Plex is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit.
• Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions.
• Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries.
• Utilize MRP system and ensure data is accurate, up to date, and resolve any issues as required.
• Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.
