Job summary

Condux International Inc. is seeking a Materials Planner to coordinate material requirements and balance inventory with production schedules.

You will work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, quality, and Engineering to ensure material availability and minimize shortages while maintaining efficiency. The role requires building accurate plans, analyzing forecasts, and communicating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three+ years in materials or production planning in manufacturing.
• Know-how of ERP/MRP systems and planning parameters (lead time, lot size, safety stock).
• Strong inventory management principles (cycle counting, turns, ABC).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; interpret forecasts and inventory data.
• Good cross-functional communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage material plans to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Analyze material requirements based on forecasts, production plans, and on-hand inventory.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials; expedite as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, excess, and obsolescence; set safety stock and min/max.
• Review and adjust material plans in response to demand changes, capacity constraints, or supply disruptions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Scheduling to align material availability with production plans.
• Track and report material availability, shortages, supplier OTIF, and inventory KPIs; propose corrective actions.
• Maintain planning data (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, BOMs) in ERP/MRP systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase planning accuracy and supply reliability.
