Job summary

Condux International is seeking a Materials Planner to oversee material requirements and align them with production schedules and customer demand. You will balance inventory, supplier performance, and manufacturing efficiency to support uninterrupted operations.

Collaborating with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering, you will drive continuous improvement, manage lead times and BOM data in ERP/MRP, and report on KPIs to optimize material availability and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Minimum three years in materials or production planning in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and planning parameters.
• Strong inventory management knowledge and techniques.
• Analytical problem-solving with data interpretation and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage material plans to support production schedules and demand.
• Analyze material requirements from forecasts, production plans, and on-hand inventory.
• Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers for timely material delivery; expedite as needed.
• Monitor inventory to prevent shortages, excess, and obsolescence; set safety stock.
• Adjust plans in response to demand changes, capacity, or disruptions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Scheduling to align material with plans.
• Track material availability, shortages, OTIF, and KPIs; propose corrective actions.
• Maintain planning data (lead times, lot sizes, BOMs) in ERP/MRP systems.
• Support continuous improvement to boost planning accuracy and reliability.
• Investigate material issues using root-cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings on production planning and new product introduction.
• Support audits and compliance related to inventory control and material management.
