Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors is seeking a Materials Manager in Middletown, CT to oversee materials management, forecasting, master scheduling, inventory and warehousing, ensuring on-time customer delivery. The role collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Procurement and Finance to optimize the supply chain.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing operations and materials, with at least 3 years in leadership, and hands-on MRP/ERP experience.

Qualifications

Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
10+ years in manufacturing operations and supply chain/materials; 3+ years in supervisory or team leadership.
Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems.
Experience supporting production planning, materials/inventory management, and materials procurement.
Basic computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Conceive, develop and implement master plans with milestones for objectives.
Coordinate/integrate detailed plans of functional departments to meet contractual objectives.
Monitor plans to ensure milestones are achieved and take corrective actions as needed.
Work with Manufacturing/Procurement to optimize operations and supply chain strategies.
Produce MRP schedules and ensure proper deliveries and inventory levels.
Manage changes affecting ordering and scheduling and document them properly.
Resolve material, capacity and resource constraints hindering production.
