Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Middletown, CT. The role focuses on cycle counting, production kitting, and maintaining inventory levels to support manufacturing. Collaboration with Materials Planning, Shipping & Receiving, and Production is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; additional certs/CEUs preferred.
• 3–5 years in inventory management.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, materials planning.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory control within the material department.
• Perform kitting for multiple programs to support production.
• Conduct transactions, cycle counts, and physical inventories as required.
• Reconcile work orders with teams to support timely closures.
• Maintain traceability for hardware to ensure compliance.
• Interface with group leaders to optimize workflow on the floor.
• Provide feedback to manager on part shortages and concerns.
• Assist with packing and shipping as needed.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Maintain neat, 5S compliant work area.
