Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is seeking a Project Material Management Analyst to coordinate planning and control activities for a technical manufacturing program. The role emphasizes master scheduling, capacity planning, and detailed requirements planning to ensure on-time delivery.

You will work with Engineering, Purchasing and other groups to develop schedules, analyze demand and supply, balance inventory, and support customer requirements on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational experience.
• 3–5 years of related production planning experience.
• Broad knowledge of a general technical field such as manufacturing, procurement, materials planning.
• Requires understanding and use of MRP systems/manufacturing processes.
• Good oral and written communications skills and PC-based software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing and other groups to develop, maintain and monitor schedules.
• Perform diversified analytical duties related to material management problems to meet schedules.
• Provide technical direction to lower level analysts in scheduling/expediting duties.
• Work from established program plans to develop, maintain and monitor schedules.
• Balance demand and supply; identify out-of-balance conditions and recommend actions for approval.
• Release purchase requisitions for appropriate quantities based on JIT principles.
• Interface with Managers and Supervisors to optimize production flow.
