• Oversee organization, movement, and storage of purchased, fabricated, and in-process materials.
• Manage, coach, and train personnel in the material handling and shipping departments.
• Direct material handling, inventory control, warehouse, transportation, and worker requirements in the most cost- effective way.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Develop purchasing strategies and drive down costs.
• Work to develop new strategies for the facilities supply chain.
• Negotiate shipping and supplier cost.
• Lead, participate, or otherwise support efficiency improvements for facility and Company.
• Identify and implement cost saving opportunities with materials and transportation cost.
• Develop and maintain a plan for monthly cycle counts of material.
• Lead annual physical inventory and planning.
