Job summary

IES Infrastructure is seeking a Materials and Logistics Manager in Canton, OH to oversee movement and storage of materials, lead the materials team, and optimize inventory and purchasing strategies. This exempt, on-site role reports to the General Manager and drives cost efficiency across warehousing, transportation, and ERP inventory transactions.

The position emphasizes leadership in material handling, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory planning within a nationwide infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Ten years’ experience in Materials Control Field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee organization, movement, and storage of materials.
• Manage, coach, and train personnel in material handling and shipping.
• Direct material handling, inventory control, warehouse, transportation, and worker requirements.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Develop purchasing strategies and drive down costs.
• Lead annual physical inventory and planning.
