Job summary

ConMet Plastics in Chillicothe, OH seeks a materials and logistics leader to direct warehouse operations, shipping, receiving and material handling to keep production on schedule. You will safeguard inventory integrity and lead a safety-first team, coordinating transportation, packaging, and outbound logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.

You will collaborate across Production and Purchasing to secure material availability for build plans and champion continuous improvement in safety, quality,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in materials, warehousing, or logistics within manufacturing.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of inventory control and warehouse practices.
• ERP systems experience, SAP preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material handling to keep production on schedule.
• Safeguard inventory integrity through cycle counts and FIFO discipline.
• Orchestrate transportation, freight, packaging, and outbound logistics; identify savings.
• Hire, coach, and mentor a safety-first team; set expectations and develop talent.
• Collaborate with Production and Purchasing to guarantee material availability.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and delivery; ensure EHS compliance.
