Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Senior Materials Management Analyst in the United States to oversee and optimize the materials management process for production schedules. You will leverage your analytical skills and deep knowledge of inventory management and ERP/SAP to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely material delivery.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Strategic Sourcing, manage data-driven decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field.
• 3+ years in materials management, production planning, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP/SAP and advanced planning tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision making.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute material, production, assembly, and test plans aligned with demand and targets.
• Analyze material requirements and ensure timely availability of components.
• Maintain material master data accuracy and ERP system integrity.
• Support stocking and replenishment strategies to optimize inventory and service levels.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, tooling, and materials for assembly and test plans.
• Monitor production and testing to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Resolve material constraints and manufacturing issues; suggest corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sourcing on NPI and design changes.
• Analyze MOQ, EOQ, and lot-sizing; work with sourcing to resolve variances.
• Participate in lean initiatives and continuous improvement across materials and operations.
• Prepare reports on materials status, production performance, and schedule adherence.
• Provide training and guidance to planning, assembly, and test personnel.
