Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Materials Management Analyst II to optimize supply chain and materials processes. You will analyze data, manage inventory, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand while reducing costs and improving workflows.

The role focuses on materials planning accuracy, backlog management, and coordinating production schedules to support delivery and service levels.

Qualifications

Proficiency with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP for master data management and reporting.
Experience in supply chain or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing knowledge to understanding shop floor workflows, lead times, and equipment limitations to build realistic timelines.
Ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends and support decision‑making.
Familiarity with supply chain metrics and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead and optimize interplant stock transfers to ensure material availability and support uninterrupted operations.
Own and drive the Clear-to-Build process for backlog, proactively identifying and resolving constraints to improve order fulfillment and production readiness.
Coordinate and execute production schedule releases for finished product and repetitive manufacturing lines, aligning supply, demand, and operational priorities to achieve delivery, inventory, and customer service objectives.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resolve supply chain issues.
