Job summary

Assurant, Inc. is seeking a training and production support role based in Irving, TX. The position runs Monday–Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and focuses on coaching, training, and monitoring performance on the shop floor.

You will work with Supervisors, support process improvements with Engineering, and ensure adherence to work instructions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of light manufacturing experience or 1 year in inspection.
• Proficient in manual processing and receiving, meeting UPH expectations.
• Strong team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing the team while monitoring production performance.
• Ensure production and quality controls are met per work instructions.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to meet goals.
• Track attendance, participate in 6S audits, and support audits on the floor.
• Provide OJT refresher training and workstation assessment.
