Job summary

Mack Molding is seeking a Materials Manager to lead the plant's materials function, aligning planning and execution with customer requirements, manufacturing priorities and financial goals.

You will direct the materials team, support on-time delivery and quality performance, and maintain accurate projections of sales, inventory, labor and capacity. This role demands strong leadership and hands-on involvement in ISO compliance and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in business or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management or materials management.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and with customers.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills.
• Experience with MRP systems and shop floor control, as well as MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant's materials functions to support on-time delivery and quality.
• Coordinate Production Control, Purchasing, and Inventory Control managers to ensure service and quality.
• Plan and control manufacturing costs to align with P&L budgets.
• Provide direction and development for materials personnel and track training needs.
• Maintain monthly/quarterly sales figures, inventory balances, and labor/capacity projections.
