Job summary

Mi-Jack Products is seeking a strategic Materials Manager to lead inventory management, material flow, and warehouse operations at our Illinois facility. Drive optimization, improve availability, and reduce excess inventory while guiding a team with a servant leadership mindset.

The role collaborates across Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Production to enhance performance, minimize obsolescence, and manage obsolescence risks. Strong data-driven decision making is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Associate Degree, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop materials supervisors and inventory teams.
• Drive inventory reduction while improving accuracy, turns, and availability.
• Optimize material flow using ERP/MRP systems and BI data.
• Collaborate with Planning, Scheduling, Purchasing, Eng., Production, and Supply Chain.
• Address backorders, pricing discrepancies, damaged materials, and supplier delivery concerns.
• Maintain SOPs to support accuracy and movement of materials.
• Lead special projects to boost throughput and efficiency.
