Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of experience with supply operations or direct patient care in a clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge in all aspects of supply/equipment processing and ordering.
• Experience with standard office software.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions; self-driven and a skilled negotiator.
• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Paramedic/Emergency Department Technician/Anesthesia Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and coordination for procurement of specialty materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain inventory par levels and inventory control.
• Educate staff regarding the use and cleaning of specialized equipment for the assigned department/division.
• Coordinate with department areas to ensure timely material availability.
• Operate in compliance with universal precautions and safety guidelines.
