Talentify is seeking a Materials Coordinator in Durham, NC to ensure the facility has supplies, instruments, equipment, and vendor support for daily operations. You will manage vendor relations, purchasing, receiving, inventory control, par levels, and supply distribution to meet patient care and operational needs.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to handle hospital equipment coordination while adhering to safety and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Proficiency with computers and hospital software.
• Experience in a hospital setting and Lawson MM system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, processes and stocks/distributes incoming orders according to departmental procedures.
• Collects, restocks and returns supply carts in conjunction with the Nursing Service Department personnel.
• Arranges and rotates items on shelves.
• Fills stock requisitions from user departments and delivers to the appropriate location.
• Processes outbound shipping documents and packages; processes returns to vendors.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding patient care and departmental information.
