Paper Converting Machine Company is seeking an entry‑level Supply Chain Buyer to support procurement and material planning so production stays on schedule. You will create and manage PO’s, monitor supplier deliveries, maintain data accuracy, and assist with cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Create, release, and maintain purchase orders and schedule agreements in the ERP system.
• Monitor supplier delivery commitments and communicate schedule changes as needed.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding order acknowledgements, delivery dates, and shipment status.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data, supplier information, pricing records, and system parameters.
• Support inventory management initiatives by helping maintain proper stocking levels and minimizing shortages.
• Assist with supplier performance tracking, including delivery, quality, and responsiveness metrics.
• Collaborate with planning, operations, engineering, and quality teams to support material availability.
• Participate in daily production and supply chain meetings to communicate material status.
• Assist with supplier issue resolution and elevate concerns when appropriate.
• Support quotation requests and supplier sourcing activities under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
• Generate reports and analyze purchasing and inventory data as assigned.
• Learn and apply procurement best practices, company policies, and supply chain processes.
• Support ERP system initiatives and process improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
