APPLIED ENGINEERING, INC. in Yankton, SD is seeking a Buyer/Planner who will manage the replenishment of production materials and cultivate supplier relationships. The role requires strong communication across departments and the ability to read blueprints and bills of materials.

You will review supplier performance, issue purchase orders, monitor open POs, coordinate lead times, and ensure compliance with specs. MRP/ERP experience and proficiency with Outlook/Microsoft Office are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum associate degree in business management or related field.
• Four or more years of buyer/planner experience or equivalent.
• Proficient with Outlook and Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

• Manage supplier performance and development, monitoring and distributing monthly supplier performance.
• Identify and recommend new suppliers based on customer requirements and capabilities.
• Ensure NDAs, surveys and other certifications are requested of new suppliers and maintained.
• Participate in internal and external supplier development meetings.
• Review planned materials reports and create purchase orders based on demands.
• Monitor and review open purchase orders and communicate delays or changes to suppliers.
