Job summary
Laepple Automotive US, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Material Planning & Logistics Manager to lead plant-level material planning, inventory control, and logistics functions for uninterrupted production and on-time delivery.
The role focuses on optimizing inventory, ensuring ERP accuracy, and driving lean initiatives to meet OEM and Tier 1 requirements. The successful candidate will manage a team, collaborate with purchasing and production, and drive cost-effective logistics while maintaining
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- APICS CPIM/CSCP preferred.
- 7+ years in material planning and logistics within automotive manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing planning, logistics, or supply chain teams.
- Experience supporting automotive OEM or Tier 1 customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the material planning, scheduling, and warehouse teams.
- Maintain ERP planning parameters and ensure data accuracy.
- Review customer releases and forecasts to balance capacity.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement reduction strategies.
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and carrier management.
- Drive lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Ensure on-time delivery and compliance with standards.
