Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Morenci, AZ, is seeking an inventory planning professional to manage Collaborative Planning reports, coordinate with maintenance and operations, and lead supplier evaluations to ensure optimal stocking levels.

You will align activities with GAAP, SOX controls and company policies while supporting a 24/7 operation and on-site teams. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, accounting, engineering or related field with 3 years of experience
• Or a High School Diploma with 7 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Proactively compile, monitor and manage Collaborative Planning reports for stocking levels and shortages
• Manage urgent complex customer requirements from maintenance, planning and operations
• Collaborate with customer departments to document, validate and meet requirements
• Obtain quotes from key suppliers using customer data, monitor supplier performance, lead evaluations
• Train and lead reconciliation of consumables at month end with SOX control knowledge
• Analyze data to perform root cause analysis on inventory issues and implement corrective actions
• Communicate master data changes (MARS) to BOM, equipment and material master data
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, SEC laws, company policies, internal controls (SOX) and PBC
• Perform other duties as assigned
