Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Morenci, AZ is seeking an inventory/ supply chain professional responsible for planning, supplier coordination and data integrity. The role supports maintenance, planning and operations to ensure material availability and strong governance.

The candidate will collaborate with multiple departments, manage quotes, lead supplier evaluations and ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC and SOX controls. On-site work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with seven (7) years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively compile, monitor and manage Collaborative Planning reports to ensure stock levels and address shortages.
• Manage urgent complex customer requirements from maintenance, planning and operations, and communicate to GSC Shared Services.
• Collaborate with customer departments to ensure needs are understood, documented, validated and met.
• Obtain quotes from key suppliers and monitor supplier performance; lead supplier evaluations.
• Train and lead reconciliation of consumables at month end, ensuring SOX and accounting compliance.
• Analyze data to perform root cause analysis on inventory issues and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate master data changes to BOM, equipment and material master data groups.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, SEC laws, company policies, internal controls and PBC.
