Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience applying ERP/MRP tools to plan materials for production.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to analyze demand data, forecasts and material reports to drive planning decisions.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production support environment is required.
• Experience with BOMs and planning parameters is preferred.
• Proven problem-solving and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material requirements planning (MRP) to align with production schedules and customer demand.
• Monitor and manage material flow through the supply chain for manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, Receiving, and Stockroom to resolve material issues.
• Review BOMs for structure, accuracy, and planning parameters; adjust as needed.
• Track shortages and excess materials; work with Purchasing to expedite orders or mitigate risks.
• Monitor supplier delivery dates and resolve delays with procurement.
• Support new contracts and projects by managing material readiness and planning activities.
• Provide regular reporting on material status, shortages, and risks to stakeholders.
• Analyze demand and historical usage to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, program priorities, and quality requirements.
