Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a materials planner/operations manager to optimize inventory and ensure materials availability for IA M-Tech and GEM projects. You will coordinate with focus factory teams, analyze consumption, and address shortages on production plans.

Responsibilities include managing MDOs, identifying obsolescence, resolving delivery issues, and coordinating returns. Strong Excel, SAP, MRP/ERP experience required; BS in related field preferred; 2+ years experience.

Qualifications

BS in supply chain, logistics or engineering; APICS CPIM/CSCP preferred.
Strong experience with MRP/ERP and SAP.
Excellent communication and analytical skills; able to manage large data in Excel.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory to optimize material availability and safety stock while minimizing risk.
Coordinate with focus factory teams and business systems to ensure raw materials availability.
Process MDOs and identify obsolescence; handle invoicing issues.
Plan, coordinate, and order materials to support projects and production.
Resolve delivery discrepancies with vendors; coordinate returns.
Collaborate with PQMR, QC, and Logistics to prioritize releases.
Support supplier quality and mitigate single-source risks.
