Job summary

Pride Global is seeking an experienced Materials Planner to plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of materials through production and engineering cycles. This role supports new product builds, material transfers, inventory staging, shipping coordination, and cross-functional supply chain activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced with SAP materials management transactions and enterprise supply chain systems.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating materials planning and cross-functional supply chain activities.
• Strong knowledge of SAP materials management transactions and BOMs.
• Ability to analyze material requirements and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Experience with new product introductions or engineering builds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor movement of materials through production and engineering activities.
• Determine material requirements based on schedules and engineering needs.
• Support shipments for new products by coordinating engineering-owned materials to shipping locations.
• Coordinate material transfers and movement into inventory locations, labs, or designated areas.
• Manage reservations and inventory staging activities.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production Control, Engineering, Program/Product Management, and Supply Chain teams.
• Maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to support production needs.
• Communicate material availability and delivery issues impacting build schedules.
• Manage shared project mailboxes and coordinate material-related requests.
• Support procurement activities and system transactions; maintain BOMs and part data.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and provide material status updates to product teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement of material planning processes.
