Job summary

The role requires a BA in a related field and 2+ years of experience, with APICS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Two or more years of related experience.
• APICS certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing resource planning theories and practices.
• Proficient with standard business software and MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to apply continuous improvement methods to planning.
• Ability to read and interpret financial reports and policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensures master production schedule aligns with division objectives for service, inventory, and configuration management.
• Plans, prepares, issues, and controls moderately complex production schedules and material requirements.
• Advise management on work in progress, material availability, and potential problems.
• Prepare work orders or purchase requests to support schedules and inventory needs.
• Coordinate material movements between internal areas and suppliers to ensure timely availability.
• Schedule and expedite movement of parts to meet shipping dates.
• Analyze inventory usage and waste; recommend actions to optimize levels.
