Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or material handling experience.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate material handling equipment including industrial lift trucks.
• Moderate to heavy physical lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver material to manufacturing using the Gentex inventory and warehouse control system.
• Perform receiving and shipping functions using the Gentex inventory and warehouse control system.
• Perform transactions related to inventory receipts, issues, put-aways, and shipments.
• Operate material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and put away/pick material.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist in reconciliation of variances.
• Perform physical inventories as scheduled.
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and safety in the work area.
• Assist team members and support production as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
