Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Material Planning Analyst in East Peoria, IL, to act as a key link between Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, and Operations. You will plan and coordinate material flow across multiple value streams to ensure material availability for production and customer demand.

Responsibilities include developing material plans, coordinating production scheduling, monitoring inventory, and driving continuous improvement using ERP systems and Power BI analytics.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, material planning, production scheduling, or inventory management.
• Knowledge of ERP-driven demand planning and material planning systems such as SAP, MACH1, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute material plans for assigned production lines and value streams.
• Coordinate the flow of materials throughout manufacturing areas.
• Monitor material availability, inventory levels, and production requirements.
• Participate in production scheduling and delivery planning activities.
• Generate forecasts and manage replenishment planning for parts and resources.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain partners.
• Support outbound shipments and interplant material transfers.
• Analyze ERP demand signals and planning data to identify risks and recovery plans.
• Utilize data analytics and visualization tools to communicate material status and trends.
• Drive continuous improvement to inventory performance and material flow.
