Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Material Coordinator on 1st shift at our Greeneville, TN facility. You will ensure timely material flow to support production schedules and customer demand, working with manufacturing, master planning, purchasing, and warehouse teams.

You will use Oracle MRP and Excel to maintain inventory accuracy, resolve shortages, and drive continuous improvement in material planning and flow. Strong data analysis and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze data and make decisions to support production flow.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to learn Oracle/MRP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; collaborate cross‑functionally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing, master planning, materials, and purchasing to prepare sequenced line schedules.
• Reschedule work orders when materials or resources are unavailable.
• Adjust work order quantities to match actual production output.
• Communicate product status and issues clearly to the team.
• Prepare material pick lists for warehouse and purchasing.
• Analyze data to resolve material issues impacting schedules and demand.
• Maintain stocking levels to ensure on‑time production flow.
• Coordinate material handling resources on the factory floor.
• Maintain Oracle data integrity for on‑hand inventory and WIP balances.
• Lead 8D process for stockouts and schedule conflicts.
• Execute material planning activities using Oracle (MRP) and Excel.
