Job summary

Danfoss, a leader in engineered solutions, is seeking a Master Scheduler in Cleveland, OH. You will create and maintain a master production schedule aligned with SIOP, guiding MRP to optimize capacity, inventory, and on-time delivery across the shop floor.

Responsibilities include weekly demand control, production scheduling, and proactive issue resolution with Customer Service, while providing input for short- and long-term planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is required.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform well in a demanding environment.
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Master Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and level-load a valid master schedule reflecting capacity and material constraints.
• MRP & Production Execution: Direct the MRP system to generate accurate purchase requisitions and production schedules.
• Priority Management: Lead weekly demand control reviews and communicate priorities.
• Customer Focus: Proactively communicate with Customer Service to resolve orders.
• Operational Planning: Input to Operations for short/long-term planning on headcount, shifts, and investments.
• Problem Solving: Resolve demand and supply conflicts within 24 hours of order entry.
