Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Master Scheduler to maintain and optimize production schedules across multiple facilities.

You will coordinate with procurement, production, engineering, and project management to meet customer demand, minimize downtime, and maximize resource utilization. Responsibilities include creating the master production schedule, monitoring progress, adjusting for changes in demand or availability, and reporting variances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production scheduling and planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Ability to use ERP/MRP systems to manage and update production plans.
• Understanding of production planning, capacity management, and inventory control principles.

Responsibilities

• Creates the master production schedule, balancing work centers for multiple products and facilities.
• Ensures Production Reporting is done accurately and timely.
• Monitors production progress and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Collaborates with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Works with Materials management to ensure project kits are available and complete at each stage.
• Communicates schedules and resolves conflicts with production supervisors and team leads.
• Reports to Leadership on deviations and analyzes data for bottlenecks and improvements.
• Maintains weekly summary reports of completed, delayed, or rescheduled work orders.
