Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
• 3–7 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing or operations planning.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with S&OP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) based on customer demand, forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Coordinate production planning activities to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization.
• Monitor capacity constraints and communicate scheduling risks, bottlenecks, and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability aligns with production requirements.
• Analyze customer demand, sales forecasts, and order trends to support planning decisions.
• Review and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changing priorities, supply disruptions, equipment downtime, or customer requirements.
• Lead scheduling meetings and provide updates on production status, capacity, and performance metrics.
• Track KPIs such as schedule adherence, on-time delivery, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy.
• Support S&OP processes by providing scheduling and capacity insights.
• Generate reports and recommendations to improve production efficiency and inventory management.
• Ensure data accuracy within ERP, MRP, and planning systems.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and operational effectiveness.
