Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related field
• 3+ years of planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment using MRP systems
• APICS certification or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of job shop manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule customer orders for assigned valve lines with achievable delivery commitments
• Analyze BOMs, material availability, routing, and capacity to establish accurate production schedules
• Monitor production progress and resolve shortages and inventory discrepancies
• Partner with Purchasing and Manufacturing to optimize lot sizes, lead times, inventory levels
• Maintain MRP system integrity through forecasts, demand trends, safety stock levels
• Release and expedite production orders aligning with commitments
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, cost savings, and efficiency
• Serve as a key problem-solver maintaining customer service during changing priorities
