Job summary

DeZURIK, Inc. is seeking a Planner to connect customer demand with manufacturing execution. You will collaborate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to manage production schedules, optimize inventory, and drive on-time delivery.

The role requires analytical, detail-oriented problem-solvers who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on inventory optimization and process improvements across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment using MRP systems.
• APICS certification or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of job shop manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule customer orders for assigned valve product lines, ensuring delivery commitments.
• Analyze BOMs, material availability, routing, and capacity to establish accurate production schedules.
• Monitor production progress and resolve shortages, inventory discrepancies, and scheduling challenges.
• Partner with Purchasing and Manufacturing to optimize lot sizes, lead times, and material availability.
• Maintain MRP integrity through forecasts, demand trends, safety stock, and lead time analysis.
• Release and expedite production orders while aligning priorities with commitments.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization and operational efficiency.
• Serve as a key problem-solver navigating changing priorities while maintaining customer service.
