Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Master Scheduler to develop, maintain, and optimize the master production schedule. You will balance capacity, resources, inventory, and demand across business units while serving as a liaison among production, engineering, supply chain, and program management.

You will identify risks, drive solutions, and support continuous improvement in planning and capacity utilization; monitor performance and report metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages daily team schedules to optimize resources.
• Publishes and maintains the master production schedule.
• Creates a rolling three-month production plan using forecasts and trends.
• Assesses risks tied to schedule options and drives solutions.
• Coordinates sales orders with raw materials, equipment, and staffing.
• Monitors schedule performance and implements corrective actions.
