Job summary

Sika in Lewisville, TX, is seeking a Master Scheduler to create a high-level production plan and master schedule across sites, ensuring the right products are available to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory and resources. The role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and other teams; requires a Bachelor’s in supply chain or business, 7+ years in manufacturing/forecasting, and SAP/Microsoft Office proficiency.

APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business management.
• 7+ years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or forecasting in the chemical or retail industry. APICS certification a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Must have good math skills, including the ability to work with fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Must be able to use SAP as an expert user and proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand and supply at the item, customer, and master schedule levels; identify out of balance conditions and propose actions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing to understand and reduce lead-times.
• Conduct rough-cut capacity planning prior to publishing master schedule to align with SI&OP commitments.
• Oversee S&OP commitments within sites to ensure efficient scheduling and capacity utilization.
• Identify, negotiate, and resolve conflicts regarding material and capacity availability and order-promising integrity.
