Job summary

Sika in Davenport, FL, seeks an experienced Master Scheduler to create a high-level production plan, define requirements, and optimize inventory across sites to meet customer demand. The role leads the S&OP process, collaborates with Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to ensure realistic schedules, manage capacity, minimize disruptions, and balance cost and service.

A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in chemical manufacturing or retail supply chains, with SAP and MS Office proficiency,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business management.
• 7+ years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or forecasting (chemical or retail). APICS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand and supply to identify imbalances and propose actions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and manufacturing to reduce lead-times.
• Conduct rough-cut capacity planning before publishing master schedule.
• Oversee S&OP commitments to ensure efficient scheduling and utilization of capacity.
• Identify, negotiate, and resolve conflicts related to material and capacity across the network.
• Create a master schedule that satisfies demand while leveling workload and optimizing inventory.
