Job summary

Tri Tool seeks a seasoned Master Production Scheduler to own the master production schedule for its portable machining equipment. You will align shop, Purchasing, and Sales around a single plan, balancing orders, forecasts, and stock with capacity.

Weekly reviews with operations and the broader team will drive on-time delivery and reliable ship dates. In a high-mix, low-volume environment, you will clean BOMs and routings, run MRP, and ensure accurate lead times.

Qualifications

• Current APICS (ASCM) certification. CPIM preferred; CSCP considered.
• 5+ years in production planning, scheduling, or master scheduling in manufacturing.
• Hands-on MPS, MRP, and capacity planning experience in an ERP system.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume, make-to-order, or engineer-to-order manufacturing.
• Ability to read BOMs, routings, and engineering drawings.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Clear, direct communication with machinists, supervisors, buyers, engineers, and salespeople, and the confidence to make a priority call and stand behind it.

Responsibilities

• Own master production schedule in NetSuite and make it the one plan the shop runs on.
• Clean up planning data (BOMs, routings, lead times, and safety stock) for highest-volume standard products.
• Run a weekly production meeting with Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Sales.
• Put on-time delivery and schedule adherence reporting in place, and improve both.
• Give Sales lead times and ship dates they can quote with confidence.
