Job summary

Ranger Power LLC seeks a Senior Director of Market Strategy and Regulatory Affairs to join its Chicago-based team. You will monitor regulatory developments, advise on market opportunities, and serve as the SME on power markets, guiding strategy across regions where Ranger operates.

In this role you will build coalitions, work with internal teams on project prioritization, and liaise with ISO/RTO leadership, utilities, and regulators to position Ranger’s portfolio for future development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in energy with ISO/RTO exposure.
• Strong wholesale market and regulatory design knowledge.
• Able to translate complex updates for varied audiences.
• Proven coalition-building and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead market and regulatory strategy across ISO/RTO regions.
• Assess market opportunities aligning with development strategy.
• Advise on market design and portfolio implications.
• Engage with ISO/RTOs, regulators, utilities and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to embed market intelligence.
• Identify early opportunities and shape regulatory solutions.
• Monitor load, transmission, storage trends and risks.
