Job summary

Hanover Research is seeking a Director of Marketing Operations to lead technology, data, and process optimization across marketing programs. Based in Arlington, VA or remote, you will drive marketing automation, CRM integrations, and reporting while partnering with Demand Gen, Sales Rev Ops, and CRM teams to optimize the customer journey.

You will manage the marketing operations team, provide strategic direction, coaching, and project management, and report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, CS, or related field is required.
• 6-9 years of marketing technology, operations, or automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM integrations.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end marketing automation processes and workflows (HubSpot).
• Oversee email campaigns, lead routing, scoring, and reporting.
• Develop audience segmentation and data-driven campaigns at scale.
• Lead marketing technology strategy, integrations, and data hygiene.
• Generate regular KPI reporting and provide actionable insights.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with Sales/CRM teams.
