Descripción del empleo

We are seeking a confident and entrepreneurial Strategic Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy for a growing healthcare vertical within the commercial building products and construction industry.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing role for someone who understands the healthcare market and can translate customer needs into market strategy, product positioning, sales tools, and growth opportunities. You will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering while spending time in the field with healthcare facility leaders, engineers, architects, contractors, distributors, and other decision-makers.

The ideal candidate combines three key areas: strategic marketing expertise, healthcare industry knowledge, and familiarity with building systems or the commercial construction market.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and lead the go-to-market strategy for the healthcare vertical.
  • Create healthcare market playbooks, value propositions, messaging, sales tools, stakeholder maps, and account-development resources.
  • Identify growth opportunities across hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care, specialty care, behavioral health, long-term care, and outpatient environments.
  • Conduct Voice of Customer conversations to understand operational challenges, project requirements, purchasing dynamics, and unmet market needs.
  • Build relationships with healthcare facility leaders, executives, engineers, architects, contractors, distributors, and construction partners.
  • Partner with Sales in the field to support customer engagement, early-stage project discussions, specification influence, and account development.
  • Translate market and customer insights into recommendations for Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Develop healthcare-focused presentations, case studies, white papers, industry articles, design guides, and customer success stories.
  • Train sales teams and representative agencies on healthcare personas, terminology, market structure, stakeholder priorities, and positioning.
  • Track pipeline growth, customer engagement, specification success, project wins, and healthcare market penetration through Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
  • Represent the organization at customer meetings, healthcare industry events, conferences, trade shows, and technical discussions.
  • Identify product gaps, competitive threats, emerging needs, and opportunities to improve the long-term healthcare product roadmap.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Relevant healthcare and industry experience may be considered in place of formal educational requirements.
  • 5–7 years of experience in healthcare facilities, healthcare construction, healthcare operations, industrial manufacturing, building systems, commercial construction, product marketing, or vertical market development.
  • Strong experience within the healthcare market, ideally involving healthcare facilities, health systems, infrastructure, construction, building products, medical equipment, manufacturing, or another healthcare-focused commercial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing strategic marketing plans, go-to-market playbooks, value propositions, product positioning, or market-expansion strategies.
  • Strong understanding of how healthcare facilities are planned, designed, constructed, renovated, operated, or maintained.
  • Experience engaging technical and commercial decision-makers, including facility leaders, engineers, architects, contractors, healthcare operators, procurement teams, and distributors.
  • Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, domestic water, piping systems, valves, facility operations, or related building-system disciplines, or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge.
  • B2B product marketing and sales enablement experience, including creating tools and training teams across multiple regions.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, relationship-building, and customer-facing skills.
  • Salesforce or comparable CRM experience is preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly, particularly during the initial stages of the role, and participate in meetings aligned with Eastern Time as needed.
What Will Help You Succeed

You are energetic, polished, self-motivated, and comfortable building something from the ground up. You move confidently between strategic planning and customer engagement, ask thoughtful questions, and bring forward potential solutions rather than simply identifying problems. You can keep pace in a growing environment while communicating effectively with executives, sales professionals, technical teams, and healthcare decision-makers.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Build and shape a high-priority healthcare vertical.
  • Join a growing organization during a period of significant market activity.
  • Work across Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering.
  • Gain visibility with senior leadership and healthcare industry decision-makers.
