Job summary

The Equus Group seeks a Director of Marketing to lead and evolve its marketing function within a high‑touch wealth management setting. You will partner with the CEO and senior leaders to shape brand, digital strategy, and client experiences.

Based onsite in Chicago at least three days a week, you will balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution, expanding market presence for high‑net‑worth clients while leveraging AI, marketing tech, CRM platforms, and analytics to measure impact.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of marketing experience, ideally in wealth management or financial services.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in marketing leadership balancing strategy and hands‑on execution.
• Familiarity with high‑net‑worth audiences and relationship‑driven business development.
• Demonstrated growth of brand, digital presence, social media, and content strategy.
• Interest in AI, marketing technology, CRM platforms, and analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with senior leadership and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with growth priorities and target audiences.
• Lead brand positioning, digital marketing, social media, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee website, SEO, marketing collateral, CRM campaigns, and broader marketing infrastructure.
• Create engaging client and prospect experiences through events and educational programming.
• Partner with Business Development and senior leadership to support prospect engagement and referrals.
• Leverage AI and emerging marketing technologies to improve content, engagement, workflow, and analytics.
• Lead and develop marketing staff and shape the future direction of the function.
