Job summary

Moog is seeking a Group Marketing Communications Manager in Blacksburg, VA, hybrid onsite/remote. You will lead strategic marketing communications for the Space and Defense Group, shaping messaging across digital, print, events, and media channels.

Responsibilities include guiding branding, collaborating with engineering and leadership, and managing a portfolio of marketing projects. Expect travel 5–10% domestically/internationally in a dynamic, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or related field.
• Minimum of seven years of demonstrated experience in Marketing Communications in a technical organization.
• Ability to work in an environment with autonomy and ambiguity across time zones.
• Effective communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Influencing ability with senior managers and executives.
• Strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing communications strategies for aerospace and defense markets.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver content across digital, print, events and media.
• Support trade shows and industry events: messaging, booth design, collateral, media engagement.
• Collaborate with business development, engineering and executives to align messaging with strategy.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform direction.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
