Moog Inc in Blacksburg, VA is seeking an Offshore Quality Assurance Engineer to join Moog Space and Defense Group. You will report to the Offshore Value Stream Manager and work onsite, applying your engineering background in a manufacturing environment to ensure compliance with contract and industry standards while supporting the return of humans to space.

The role requires up to 50% international travel, leadership and communication skills, hands-on use of SPC, Gage R&R, 5 Why or Fault Tree

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% internationally.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in a team-based manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain confidential information and use enterprise information systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite is beneficial.
• Work on motion control and electronic components.
• Develop quality documentation and test procedures.
• Review contracts, industry, and regulatory flow-downs for compliance.
• Identify, analyze and resolve complex quality issues using data.
