Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• Five or more years of relevant experience; nonprofit marketing experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio of graphic design work and brand-consistency skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies for fundraising and program awareness.
• Oversee creative marketing materials for campaigns and donor outreach.
• Manage social media channels and grow online engagement.
• Develop communications plan including newsletters, direct mail, donor updates, annual reports.
• Maintain organizational brand identity across channels.
• Coordinate media efforts with contracted PR firm; plan interviews and photo/video shoots.
• Generate client stories to tell organizational impact persuasively.
• Support events with marketing materials and program development; assist day-of execution.
• Maintain Starfish website content, navigation, and usability; train board volunteers.
