Job summary

DFA seeks a Market Research and Insights Analyst to collect and analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive data to guide strategic planning and marketing initiatives. You will partner with internal teams, develop presentations, build models, and deliver actionable insights through reports and dashboards, supporting dairy demand generation and business decisions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in marketing, economics, business administration, or related field; or equivalent mix of education and practical experience.
• 2 to 5 years of market research, marketing, analytical, industry, or related experience.
• Certification and/or license may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Compile market intelligence from industry, DFA, customers, and suppliers using primary and secondary research, competitor data, and industry reports.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and threats; provide actionable recommendations.
• Monitor real-time market activity and communicate findings to team members or management.
• Develop relationships with internal staff and provide insight services as needed.
• Support strategic projects with research and insight; contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
• Build and maintain models; create reports summarizing key findings and insights.
• Develop presentations and deliver messaging to staff, members, customers, and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, and finance to align strategies with market insights.
• Participate in professional development to enhance skills and share market insights with teams.
• Utilize market research tools, databases, and software to streamline data collection and analysis.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.
