Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a construction-related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the market vertical with demonstrated success.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and sustain a growing portfolio of work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a profitable portfolio and successfully lead large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of construction industry; contracts, project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, equipment, and means and methods required.

Responsibilities

• Owns the market vertical strategy and aligns with organizational goals to grow the vertical profitably.
• Develop comprehensive vertical plans with objectives, milestones, and deliverables aligned to corporate PM processes.
• Lead, mentor, and manage integrated teams, establishing criteria for selecting internal and external members.
• Serve as primary contact for market stakeholders: executive leadership, clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues to executive management as needed.
• Provide financial forecasts, actuals, and variances, and deliver regular financial reports to leadership.
• Establish KPIs, prepare status updates, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
• Promote Lean construction practices (Pull Planning, Daily Huddles, 5S, etc.).
• Manage contracts, billing, and ensure alignment with client relations and profitability.
• Review contracts for subtleties and optimize resource forecasting and allocation.
