Carter Support Services LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead the growth of its electrical division. You will hunt work, estimate, win, and execute projects, building scalable systems and strong GC relationships.

The role blends field and office leadership, requiring hands-on management, sharp estimating, and the ability to scale operations. Travel to job sites is expected, with responsibility across Southern California.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial electrical contracting, project management, and estimating.
• Proven experience managing electrical projects from bid review through closeout.
• Ability to perform takeoffs, build estimates, review scopes, and support bidding strategy.
• Direct experience working with GCs, estimators, project managers, vendors, and field teams.
• Ability to identify viable bid opportunities and help pursue new work.
• Experience leading schedules, budgets, labor planning, materials, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical projects from bid review through final closeout.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, labor planning, materials, and documentation.
• Coordinate with foremen and field crews to keep work moving efficiently.
• Anticipate risks, scope gaps, change-order opportunities, material needs, and schedule constraints.
• Support labor planning and crew ramp-up/ramp-down based on project demand.
• Develop and implement SOPs, estimating standards, workflows, and communication processes.
